We can continue to walk in the shadows of the past,
Longing for a future that seems to elude us so fast.
The path ahead is shrouded in uncertainty and doubt,
As we struggle to find the courage to follow a route…

If at every twist and turn or obstacle we see,
It becomes much harder for us to believe,
In the word of God that has been taught and preached,
Getting to that next level is so difficult to reach

Yet, in the depths of our despair, we must not lose sight,
Of the promise that lies ahead, a beacon of hope in the night.
For it is only through faith and perseverance, we find,
The strength to overcome the shadows that linger in our mind.
