Sometimes you find yourself staring at the computer monitor in wonderment that with all those different keys looking back at you—you simply cannot find the words or a subject to write…

Don’t push the panic button just yet. I believe it was Naomi Judd who said, “Solitude is creativity’s best friend, and solitude is refreshment for our souls.” Sometimes you have to tell your mind to be quiet and just be observant. Our creativity does come from our souls. At least for those of us who are constantly sitting before this defiant keyboard; which we cannot allow to intimidate us. But of what we must command to create as our mind’s and soul’s extension of thoughts seemingly come from a source, which at times we simply cannot explain, except in written expressions that are imprinted upon our souls as we enter that creative space.

Somehow time after time we continue to find those words that are floating in that creative space. You can too—there is always subject to find if you listen to your heart….

Whether it’s a haiku, a rhyming poem, movie script, daily blog post, a novel or essay. The unique moments a writer finds when their fingertips turn an intimidation into an inspiration for all to see, read and understand is something astounding and at times miraculous —for it has the ability to touch men’s minds, emotions and hearts in a moment of time.

To writers everywhere, who place their blood, sweat and tears in print. Who open their souls to men’s speculations and judgments I commend you for a job well done. May you be refreshed anew with greater things to write and do—Never give up for you can find those words, you can continue to inspire. That is your God-given gift don’t throw it away.
