*Sunday’s Devotion

And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. (Genesis 3:8 NKJV)

GENESIS 3 IN ITS ENTIRETY.

Thought For The Week: Here we find Adam and Eve hiding from God’s presence after eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Their disobedience caused them to feel shame and fear, and they thought that running from God was the solution

Many of us can relate to Adam and Eve’s desire to hide from God. We may feel like we’ve messed up too many times, or that our problems are too big to overcome. But the truth is that hiding from God only leads to greater pain and isolation.

We need to understand that hiding from God doesn’t solve our problems Instead we need to turn to Him in prayer and ask for His help. God already knows everything about us, including our weaknesses and struggles. But He loves us anyway and wants to help us overcome them.

If you feel like hiding from God today, remember He is always there for you. He wants to walk with you through your struggles and provide the help you need. Don’t let shame or fear keep you from reaching out to Him.

Prayer: Dear God, thank You for Your unconditional love and grace. Forgive us for the times we have tried to hide from You and run from our problems. Help us to turn to You instead, knowing that You are always there to guide and comfort us. We also pray for anyone who may be struggling today, that you would give them courage to seek Your help and the strength to overcome their challenges. In Jesus’ name, amen.
