*Sunday’s Devotion

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8 NKJV)

REVELATION 1 IN ITS ENTIRETY.

Thought For The Week: The other morning, I was listening to the song Alpha and Omega by Israel and New Breed during praise and worship. Our Father is the beginning and ending of all things. And we must remind ourselves that He never starts anything that He doesn’t finish. being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; (Philippians 1:6 NKJV) So no matter where you may find yourself this morning—if you opened your eyes and took a breath, know that it is by our Father’s hand. And if you are blessed to see this day, He is worthy of praise just for that. And then carry this scripture in your hearts when it seems you are in a dark place and can’t come out...Isaiah 46:10 reminds us, “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:”

Prayer: Jehovah Elyon, God Most High: We thank You for another day that has been coming since the beginning of creation. We thank You for being a God who sits high and looks low, Whose eyes are forever upon His people and Whose ears are attentive to their cries and pleas. We thank You just for being God alone. For we know Father, that You never sleep nor slumber. We bless and magnify Your Holy Name. We thank You for never leaving us alone. If we had a thousand tongues, we could never thank You enough. We thank You for life and life more abundantly. We give You all of the glory and honor in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
