This morning, while sitting here looking out my office window, writing today’s posts. I just wanted to say first, thank you to those of you who have supported me through the years by reading these daily and weekly posts. My heart is flooded with love this morning for a Creator who has blessed many of us with the gift of writing. Whether it’s devotion, a prose, a poem, a blog post, a magazine article, a book, or a movie script. I just want to encourage you to not give up. Because you will find in the smallest recess of your creative heart a God who will always give you that lost idea, that one line that will be the building block you need to succeed.

In elementary school, I was taught “A quitter never wins, and a winner never quits.” Remember these words when you feel like you’re grasping for straws or are alone in a quagmire of voices that keep telling you that you are not enough or you won’t measure up. You are more than just the sum of every high and every low—just don’t lose your focus. And in that moment, you will find He will not only give you the strength to fight this creative battle, but He will also give you the gift to win it!
