God is my front and rear guard
He deflects the enemy when he tries to charge…
Me with evil thoughts and wicked intentions
He’s protected me so many times I can’t even mention

No matter how many weapons come across my path
He casts every one out by His heavenly wrath
He’s fought so many battles for me
And won every one, you see..

Because He’s the God of all things seen and unseen
Every word He’s written, with a truth he means
When He raises His battle axe
All demons must turn back

So fear not, my warring friend
With God on your side, you will win in the end
No matter how it seems or looks
For we know how the story ends in the Book!
