Sometimes we find ourselves in situations where we’ve prayed and prayed about it, and it looks like nothing is happening. But that may not necessarily be the case. All things are done in God’s timing, regardless of the circumstance, and that understanding is sometimes harder to accept than the prayer we think hasn’t been answered. Remember what the angel told Daniel? Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. (Daniel 10:12 NKJV)

Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart that is tired from waiting and wondering. I have prayed, I have hoped, and sometimes I wonder why I have not yet seen an answer. Lord, help me remember that silence does not mean You have forgotten me. Give me the faith to trust You even when I cannot see what You are doing. Help me surrender my desires to Your will and believe that Your plans are greater than my own.

Please give me strength to keep praying, patience to keep waiting, and peace while I wait. If the answer is “not yet” or “no,” help me accept it with faith, knowing that You see the bigger picture.Thank You for hearing every prayer, even the ones I struggle to put into words. Remind me that I am never alone and that Your love never fails. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
