Well, today is the last day in September. September didn’t even say hello. It came in quickly and quietly and left the same way. Remember that poem: 30 days have September, April, June, and November. When short February comes all the reset have 31? There are 92 days left in 2026 (excluding today) or 13 weeks and 1 day; depending on how you look at it. Ten more days and my birthday will be here!
For all of us ladies out here let’s acknowledge that today is National Women’s Health And Fitness Day. This is our nation’s largest annual health promotion for women that is always observed on the last Wednesday of September. Originally started in 2002 by the Health Information Resource Center. It promotes the importance of regular physical activity, healthy habits, and general health awareness for women of all ages.
Now we only have 16 more celebrations and observances for today which include: Blasphemy Day, Extra Virgin Olive Oil Day, International Translation Day, National Hot Mulled Cider Day, Orange Shirt Day, Pet Tricks Day, and Thunderbirds Day. For the complete list have a sip of our hot mulled cider.
With all that’s going on in the world today let’s celebrate National Love People Day. Founded in 2017 by Senior Pastors Reggie and London Royal of the Lifeline Church in Cicero, Illinois to encourage unconditional love, unity, and kindness for everyone without exception. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. (John 13:34-35 NKJV) Right now this cannot be expressed enough in America.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of life and for reminding us to love one another. In a world filled with division, conflict, and uncertainty, help us to be examples of Your love, kindness, grace, and compassion. Give us hearts that choose love over anger, unity over division, and kindness over judgment. Help us to see one another through Your eyes and to remember the words of Jesus: “Love one another, as I have loved you.”May our words bring encouragement, our actions bring peace, and our lives reflect Your light. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏽❤️
