Seems like this entire year is just rushing to get out of the way! Today is Wins-day October 21, 2026. I call it Wins-day because if you survived your work week with your sanity still intact—you are definitely a winner! And can you believe there are only 71 days left in this year? I for one am happy to finally feel a cool breeze blowing through Florida. I told somebody earlier; Florida didn’t get the memo…We went right from winter to summer. I was starting to feel like I was living in a desert! Thank you Autumn for your fresh air and cool breezes!

Speaking of breezes, let’s blow to Back to the Future Day one of the 21 celebrations acknowledged today. This is an annual pop culture celebration held ever October 21 to honor the sci-fi movie classic Back to the Future II. The date commemorates the exact day—October 21, 2015—that Marty McFly, Doc Brown, and Jennifer Parker traveled to the future in their time-traveling DeLorean.

The other 20 celebrations include Celebration of the Mind Day, Medical Assistant Day, National Archives Day, National Pumpkin Cheesecake Day, National Reptile Day, Police Commemoration Day, President Ndadaye’s Day, Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day, and Trafalgar Day. Wrapping up this compilation is Unity Day. The signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month in the U.S. Annually held on the third of fourth Wednesday of October. Organized by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, the day unites people to send a visible message of kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the refreshing breezes of autumn and the blessings You bring with each passing day. As this year rushes toward its end, help us slow down and appreciate the beauty of Your creation and the gift of each new morning. Fill our hearts with kindness, compassion, and unity. Teach us to love one another, stand against bullying, and embrace everyone with acceptance and grace. May we be a light to those who feel alone and a source of encouragement to those who are hurting. Lord, guide us through the remaining days of this year with grateful hearts, peaceful spirits, and unwavering faith in You. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen. 🙏🍂
