Tuesday morning, while sitting at my desk, the words to this song were in my spirit. “Give me You. Lord, give me You. Lord, give me You. Lord, give me You. Just give me You. Everything else can wait. Just give me You. I hope I’m not too late.” These words are repeatedly playing within my spirit as I am writing this post. I don’t know where we’re going this morning but…

The first thing that crossed my mind, But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33 NKJV) In my heart, I feel that we need to, more than ever, change our mindsets and heart postures. What do I mean? Concerning mindsets: Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. (Philippians 2:5-8 NKJV)

Regarding our heart postures >>>2 Chronicles 16:9a reads…“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.” I am always asking myself, “Is your heart loyal to God or to people?”
I must’ve spent 40% of my life trying to please people and finally realized in later years; that the only One that I should be concerned with pleasing is God. Because at the end of the day He is the one I have to be eternally accountable to.

You see, on that day of judgement, which seems to be slipping some of our minds — I’ll be standing before the King all by myself. If I am to be part of anyone’s entourage it will part of the One entourage that matters. Clicks and stones my break my bones, but God will never hurt me. Everything He does for us He does for our good. (Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV)
So I guess the better question would be…Do we want God as much as He loves us?
At the end of the day, may our hearts long for God above all else, our minds reflect Christ, and our lives remain faithful to Him. Lord, give us You—because when we have You, not only do we have everything we need but we also have everything that truly matters.
Thank you so much for your continued readership and support. Until next week…Be and stay blessed!
