God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;
God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. (Psalm 46:5 NKJV)
PSALM 46 IN ITS ENTIRETY.
Thought For The Week: In a world that is constantly changing all around us and can even make us feel as if we’re drowning under the demands of life, the weight of our calling, and the surprise storms that shake our peace. When life feels busy, your mind is all over the place, or you’re stepping into a new season, Psalm 46:5 is a beautiful anchor for your soul.
This is not a promise that no trouble will come, but a promise of a Presence that does not change. ‘She will not fall’ isn’t about how strong she is, how perfectly she planned this or how perfectly she pulled it off. If she is alive today it is only because of Who lives in her. When God is the center of your life, your creativity, and your daily steps, your foundation becomes entirely unshakable.
You don’t have to go it alone. It’s time to take the weight off your shoulders and the responsibility off your back. Take a deep breath, lean into His abiding presence, and be strengthened by His power. He is in you, He is with you, and He will never leave you.
Prayer: Father thank you that you are my sure solid rock in the midst of all that seems so unsteady. Forgive me for the days when I lean on my own strength and control. Help me live aware that You are within me, strengthening my steps and guarding my heart. Fill my mind with Your peace today and may I see Your help again with the first light of each new day. Amen.
