Nevertheless in Your great mercy You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them;

Thought For The Week: In moments of weakness and despair we my feel that we have utterly failed and are deserving of total destruction. But our Lord in His great mercies does not abandon us. Here He is gracious and merciful even when we do not deserve it. Beloved let us never forget that no matter how far we might have strayed or how broken we may feel, God’s mercies are greater. He is a God who never gives up on us, even when we give up on ourselves. May we learn to embrace His unending mercies with gratitude and strive to extend that same mercy to others.

Prayer: Gracious and merciful God, we thank You for Your unending mercies. Help us to remember that Your love surpasses our weaknesses and failures. When we feel unworthy, remind us that You are always there, ready to embrace us with Your grace. Please empower us to extend Your mercy to others, just as You have shown us. In Jesus’ name, amen.
