The word of God teaches us…  But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6 NKJV)

Loving Father, I come before You aware of my limits and my need for grace. Please guard my heart from pride and self-importance. Teach me to remember that every gift I have is received, not earned alone. Help me listen more than I speak, serve without needing recognition, and walk quietly in truth and love. When I succeed, remind me to give thanks rather than boast. When I fail, remind me to trust You rather than despair. Shape my heart to reflect Your patience, kindness, and mercy. Keep me grounded, grateful, and teachable, so I may honor You and love others well. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
