Help Lord, for the godly man ceases!
For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men.
(Psalm 12:1 NKJV)

Thought For The Week: David’s cry feels painfully current. He looks around and sees integrity thinning out, faithfulness fading, and truth growing rare. Instead of pretending everything is fine, he goes straight to God with an honest plea: Help, Lord. This verse reminds us that when righteousness seems scarce and voices of truth are drowned out, God is still the first and best place to turn.

This text invites us to resist despair and choose dependence. When faithfulness feels lonely, God calls His people not only to cry out—but to stand firm. Even if we feel surrounded by compromise, our quiet obedience still matters. God hears the cry for help, and He remains faithful even when people are not.

Prayer: Lord, when faithfulness feels rare and standing for You feels costly, help us. Strengthen our hearts, guard our integrity, and help us be counted among those who remain faithful, in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
