*Sunday’s Devotion

No harm will overtake you, No disaster will come near your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. (Psalm 91:10-11 NIV)

READ PSALM 91 IN ITS ENTIRETY.

Thought For The Week: In a world that often feels chaotic and uncertain, it is easy to let fear take root. We worry about our health, our families, and our future. Yet, these scriptures offer a staggering promise to those who make the Most High their dwelling place.

This is not just a passing sentiment; it is a promise of divine, supernatural protection. The imagery of a “tent” suggests that even in our most vulnerable, temporary, or unsettled moments, God is shielding us. The promise is that evil and disaster are not allowed to breach the hedge of protection God has placed around you. Furthermore, God does not just protect you from a distance—He dispatches His angels to actively guard you in all your ways.

This does not mean we will never face trials, but it means that no trouble can destroy you. You are held by a God who sends heavenly bodyguards to make sure your steps are ordered and your life is secure. Today, trade your worry for wisdom, your fear for faith, and your anxiety for assurance. You are covered, guarded, and safe under His wings.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for being my refuge and my fortress. I am so grateful that I don’t have to face this world alone. When I am afraid, help me to remember that You have commanded Your angels to guard me. I trust in Your protection, both seen and unseen. Thank You for always watching over my home, my family, and my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
