Father of mercy and everlasting light, in this troubled hour of our world, we turn to You with humble hearts. When fear spreads and hope feels distant, remind us that Your presence is never far away. Even in the deepest night, Your light still shines.

Calm the unrest within us. Where there is anxiety, bring peace. Where there is sorrow, bring comfort. Where there is division, awaken compassion and understanding. Strengthen those who suffer and those who carry heavy burdens. Be near to the grieving, the lonely, and the weary. Guide the hands of those who heal, serve, and protect others.

Grant wisdom to those entrusted with leadership, that their choices may seek justice, mercy, and the good of all people. Teach us to live with gentleness and courage—to answer anger with patience, hatred with kindness, and despair with hope. Make us instruments of peace in our homes, our communities, and our world. Remind us that darkness does not have the final word. Your love is greater than our fear, and Your light is stronger than the night.
