While sitting in my doctor’s office
I realized I was just a novice

Concerning this thing called life; It’s so hard for me
You have to take it one piece at a time—you see

The picture is much too broad and wide
You can’t see it if you’re blinded by pride

You can’t understand it if you refuse to hear
The Spirit of the Lord speaking in your ear…

Telling you the things you’re doing right or doing wrong
You’ve been on this same path far too long

You need to walk in a different direction
Because He has, for you, so much love and affection

No matter how many times you may fall down
His love will always lift you high off the ground

If you have the courage to do what is right
And forever walk towards His love and wisdom in the light

Then the pieces of life will begin to come together
And you’ll be able to walk through all kinds of weather

Trusting to know what the Master has in store
You won’t walk on the wrong path anymore

But will be headed for a destiny that is becoming clearer to see
Because finally, you are where you were purposed to be.
