Many of us study God’s word and truly seek a closer walk and better understanding of His word as it applies to our daily lives. And as the challenges in our lives are ever-increasing so is the difficulty applying God’s word in our lives. But we must understand this is a gradual process and cannot be accomplished overnight. For it is written. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Joshua 1:8)
And always remember it is not the quantity of the prayers we pray, but the quality as it relates to the sincereness of our hearts…
God, I come before You wanting to be shaped by Your Word. Please give me the desire to read and apply Your Word to my life. And please use Your Word to equip me for whatever You called me to do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
