Thought For the Week: As David sang this song after God delivered him; we should do likewise. Singing songs of praise and giving thanks to God when He brings us out of certain situations is the righteous way to go. That’s why David was able to say “I will bless the LORD at all times. His praise shall continually be within my mouth.” He was so elated by what great mercies and love God had shown him through his many trials. And we, too, should be mindful to always give God all the glory, honor, and praise. Because He is worthy in His sovereignty.
Prayer: Father, thank You for loving me. Thank You for believing in me and always building me up. Thank You for your new mercies every day. Thank You for delivering me from situations I thought impossible. I ask that You show me creative ways to encourage and build up the people around me so they can come to know You. Help me to be an example of Your love in Jesus’ name. Amen
