With all that is going on in the world today, we need God to smile down on each and every one of us. This is not a war against race, denomination, political party, or financial status. A silent darkness has descended upon all humanity. Whether you live in a penthouse or the projects, it matters not.

Amidst all these feelings of hopelessness and helplessness; there is one truth that rings out so vehemently. “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas and established it upon the floods. (Psalm 24:1-2)

If we have ever been thankful for Christ now is the time.

If we have ever been thankful for Christ now is the time. GRACE is God’s Righteousness At Christ’s Expense. And he paid the price for all of us on Calvary that God’s grace might abound even the more.

I hear the Savior say,
“Thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all.”

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

Usually, when our readers come to this page a prayer is posted. However, this week we are doing something a little different. We feel, although Open Our Eyes is a great song, it is also an awesome prayer for such a time as this. And our prayer is that those who dare to listen to this song will be blessed with peace by an offering of thanksgiving. Or just to reflect on the goodness of God — to not just see the glass as half full but being thankful for having a glass at all. For this too shall pass. May God’s grace restore and increase your faith and peace. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
