Amen and amen again! Thank you so much for stopping by and for your comment. Have a blessed and prosperous…
Are we going to believe what is written in the Holy Scriptures or are we not? Is it God’s word or the word of men? There is a text that reads…”All scripture is breathed out by God and profitble for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17 ESV) So if all scripture is the breath of God…
It is not some movie script that you can edit to accommodate your life’s choices. No, it is the Holy word of God written to commend you back to your Creator so that your true purpose in life is truthfully defined and performed to it’s ultimate fulfiment or destiny. (Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV) With genuine love and care for humanity. Not as a habitual conscience cleanser for you to continue in sin but as a character builder that leads you to righteousness. Not just for you, but for all those whose lives you touch. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16 NKJV)
Neither is it a means to a hearty bank account or wordly possessions. (Philippians 3:17-19 NKJV) But a means to a Savior on whom you can depend despite your economic status, race, or creed. Whose dependability factor is far greater than any FDIC or global market. He promised to never leave us or forsake us. (Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV)
It is not a means to notoriety because the Holy Scriptures teach us that anything we do that does not glorify God is in vain—As Solomon so eloquently put it “Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.” Yes, it will bring you attention here on earth, which is only temporary. (Luke 16:15 NKJV) With all the power and authority that Christ had when he walked this earth he never sought fame or fortune. He told them “For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am among you as the One who serves.” (Luke 22:27) And we are still talking about Him 2,000 years later. I would say that His works are still speaking for him in volumes!
The word of God is not some magic lamp, goldmine, shortcut to success, or a deep dissipating theology, but boundless revelation of the beautiful and miraculous plan God has ordained for humanity. There is a scripture for every malady and human condition written in those 66 books. All we need do is carefully read the roadmap and follow the directions. What do you believe?
May the Blessings of the LORD be with you today and always. Thank you for your continued readership and support.….Blessings and Peace!
