Though the Lord is on high,
Yet He regards the lowly;
But the proud He knows from afar.
(Psalm 138:6 NKJV)

PSALMS 138 IN ITS ENTIRETY.

Thought For The WeeK: God is not impressed with our pride. We cannot even begin to measure up to His unmeasurable greatness. To rely on our own hubris and arrogance is to insult the grandeur of God. But the humble, the lowly, and the contrite do not escape His notice. Despite His magnitude, God does not fail to see even the least of those who are humble before him.

Prayer: Lord, You are a great and limitless God. It amazes me that, despite Your infinite presence, You choose to take notice of me. Thank You for not forgetting me. Help me to never forget that it is Your love that causes You to see me, so that I may not fall to the snare of pride and be tempted to turn from You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
