This is a very simple question but is quite complex in terms of your motivational value as it equates to your blog posts. I believe it was Roy Bennett who said “If you have a strong purpose in life you don’t have to be pushed. Your passion will drive you there.” The one sure thing is if passion is the driving force behind your articles the reader will have a definitive understanding of it. Your blog gives you the opportunity for a dialogue about your services or products. The interactive innovative construct of your blog takes part in a two-way communication that is not only beneficial to you but also to the viewer.

As more entrepreneurs are converting to blogging and bloggers are converting to entrepreneurship they are both creating a brand new interactive network for their clients. Always remember, a blog site takes a great deal of work and if you’re not passionate about it you will not prosper. Not only in terms of financial gain but readership as well. Anything that requires a lot of work also requires tremendous dedication.

Today the majority of the populous are either Amazonians or Walmartians.

Today the majority of the populous are either Amazonians or Walmartians. Meaning the bulk of their shopping is done online before opening a telephone book (do they still make those?), newspaper, or driving to a brick-and-mortar establishment. Wouldn’t it be nice if those shoppers could discover your services or products on your blog site? Your blog can far exceed a phone or newspaper ad. How? By the sheer power it has to bridge the gap between creative advertising and your off-the-cuff goal declarations. Your blog site also offers you the ability to establish yourself as a credible business through the development of trustworthiness.

To be a successful blogger with staying power you have to possess passion which is merely the foundation on which you must build and establish worth to your viewers. And research is the only surefire way to offer them this worth with useful and appropriate details. You must research and study your niche—become acquainted and knowledgeable about whatever subject you intend to write. Certainly, if you were going to write about pies and cakes you would try to find the greatest articles and ebooks on those subjects. Because if you’re faking it to make it your viewers will pick up on that in no time. Not only that but the true detriment comes when you will find a lack of passion and probably stop posting altogether. I’ve seen many abandoned sites through the years. Without true passion, your blog site will wind up in the blogosphere landfill of unfinished works!

When your viewers or consumers feel you have a genuine value for them their words will spread like wildfire!

When your viewers or consumers feel you have a genuine value for them their words will spread like wildfire! Even in this age of technology word of mouth is still the best form of advertisement. When you blog effectively about your items or services you are fueling the power to give your viewers very valuable information. And by doing so you engage your site viewers. Instead of screaming your name through blatant marketing your intricately developed blog site will cause your viewers to become involved. And this involvement comes from not only engrossing them in your subject matter but also allowing them to comment giving you as the blogger, a better understanding of what their needs and expectations are.

Thank you for your continued readership and support. Keep punching those darn keys! Until next week…Blessings and Peace!

  1. I would have to say, Yes, I am passionate about what I write about – which is why I can’t keep it to myself. I love getting comments, especially from readers who “get it.” When readers tell me a post has their changed their outlook on the day, or even changed their lives, that’s the best.

  2. Hi Claudia,

Interesting question. I’ve been blogging on WordPress since Aug 28, 2009. I had another blog on a different site prior to WordPress. I’ve amassed almost 6,600 posts to this point. And, in all honesty, these posts and words are for my grandchildren ….. and at the same time, if I can help someone that is facing a heart transplant, or that has had one and I can help them I’d be very happy. Beyond that, I also wish to give others a bit of HOPE and FAITH as they battle whatever life throws at them.

With all of that said, I’d like to convert some of those 6,600 posts into a book that could be passed onto to future generations. I’m looking into and hoping that maybe “AI” can help me sort through all of these posts.

Be well my friend! Many hugs! ❤

  3. The passion for my blog comes and goes.

I love this community and what God has done in and through me because of my presence in this space.

Unfortunately, I’m now in a season where I don’t have as much time to dedicate to my writing as I would like.
Well…I’m writing…but instead of blog posts, I’m writing papers for school.
