As I was writing the “Verse for the Day” post for Saturday I was reminded of an incident that happened this past Thursday. At the beginning of that Verse of the Day text, it reads “You have hedged me behind and before…”

When I went to empty the kitchen trash (which is always through the backdoor of our garage) Thursday morning—First I noticed the door was unlocked and second I noticed the garage door was up. And it occurred to me that both doors had been opened all night! Anyone could’ve come into our home at any time through the night and robbed us or done us harm. Not to mention the wild animals that could’ve gotten into our garage. But God had protected us as we slept through the night. And immediately I thanked Him for keeping us. We could’ve been statistics on the local news, but instead here it is Sunday morning and I am able to give you all this testimony!

And might I add, this is not the first time. I can remember on two separate occasions when I left the front door of our home unlocked (once with the house keys still in the lock) and in ALL instances God has shown us His grace and mercy over and over again. Gifts of mercy and grace. For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. (Psalm 91:11 NKJV)

Have you had any instances like this in your life that you’d like to share?

When you stay with God—God will stay with you! Just another blessed reminder that He IS always there.

May the Blessings of the LORD be with you today and always. Thank you for your continued readership and support. Until next week…Blessings and Peace!
