Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. (1 Timothy 6:6-8 NKJV)

  1. Content, but not complacent. 😉 As believers, of course we shouldn’t be craving more of the world’s “stuff” than we need. (That’s no doubt what Paul was saying, in context, and I’m sure you agree.) But neither should we be content with “I’ve got mine.” Jesus gave us the Great Commission, and we should never be content until all have heard the Gospel.
