With just coming out of hurricane Idalia unscathed by the grace of God. We are happy to see the month of September, albeit the weather here in Florida has not become a brisk and fresh welcome of fall just yet. I don’t think the month of September understands climate change as much as global warming!. It is still steamy hot here in the Florida peninsula, and believe me, we will all welcome autumn when it finally arrives!
School days—School days … Dear old golden rule days are back, and students everywhere are off to another welcoming school season. Parents are shopping for clothes, school supplies, calculators, and computers to give their children the prepared start they’ll need to begin the new school year. Thus making August a distant memory and offering a cool hello to September. Did you know the month of September has 200 celebratory occasions? Everything from American Chess Day to Grandparents’ Day and all things after and in between! For a list of all those celebrations, please drop in on this pile of leaves to get a jump on things.
With Labor Day this coming Monday, I am sure a lot of us will be relaxing at home, grilling, or just hanging out by the pool, and the snowbirds will be packing their bags as the cooler weather comes in to head south for the winter.

As we go from grilling to gratitude, let us please not forget that September 11th Patriot Day gives all of us time to reflect on the devastating terror attacks that took nearly 3,000 lives in the Twin Towers of New York. Our eldest son visited the site after it was restored, and he said there was a somberness about it that was just unexplainable. We commemorate those who we lost and give thanks to the brave first responders who put their lives on the line. And prayers for those whose families made the sacrifices. Their selflessness is what makes our country great.
A little September Trivia: Did you know September is the only month that is not named after a Roman deity? And is the only month with the same number of letters in its name that equates to the number of the month? Nine.
For those of us blessed to see the month of September, may you find moments of quiet solitude to spend in prayer, drawing closer to God, seeking His will for your life, and may you experience God’s divine guidance, leading you on the path of righteousness and blessing. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
May you find joy, fun, and laughter always within the walls of your home. Happy New Month!

Up north today marked the beginning of the “Ber” months ….. and it was a bit Brr’ish this morning at 53, and we had left all the windows open last night. So, it was what I would call “refreshing” here this morning.
Be well, hugs! ❤

September understands climate change just fine; see https://co2coalition.org/ for the facts as reported by US government weather agencies that the mainstream media avoid.
Yeah, it’s warm, but it’s been hot before, and more people die from cold than from heat, but the media don’t report the stats on that because it doesn’t fit with the narrative they want.
