As the rains and floods ravage some parts of the state of Kentucky, let us hold them up this morning before the Lord. We are asking all who read this to join in this prayer with us…Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted. (Matt 5:4 NKJV)

Heavenly Father, we lift up the state of Kentucky to you, a land rich in history, culture, and natural beauty. We pray for the people of Kentucky that through these floods and storms, they may experience your grace, peace, and love. As the flooded rivers rise, may their faith in You rise even higher. We pray for all of those who may have lost a loved one that You cover them with your everlasting mercy and grace. Please cover them with Your mighty wings, hold them close to Your breasts. We ask for a revival in Kentucky, a renewal of faith and hope, and a healing of our land. And as all of the debris is swept away. We pray that hatred and prejudice are also swept away.  We pray for the well-being of their collective family, friends, and loved ones throughout the Commonwealth. May Your guidance, love, and everlasting hope sustain us all now and forever in the matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
