I happened across this prayer on Facebook. This prayer is for all of us who allow doubt to infiltrate our hearts and minds.

Dear God, please untie the knots that are in my mind, my heart, and my life. Remove the have-nots, cannots, and do-nots. Erase the will nots, may nots, and might nots that may find a home in my heart. Release me from the could nots, would nots, and should nots that obstruct my life. And most of all, dear God, I ask You to remove from my mind, my heart, and my life all of the am nots that I have allowed to hold me back. Especially that thought that I am not good enough. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does”. (James 1:6-8 NIV)
