I Am Zion

UNLEASH THE POWER OF GOD’S GLORY IN YOUR LIFE

by John Eckhardt

An associate of mine brought this book to me as I am an avid reader of John Eckhardt. One of his books I reviewed in the past Prayers that Rout Demons is a very effective tool in spiritual warfare. The greatest device of the enemy, thus far is to deceive, people into believing he does not exist. But that conversation is for another day.

In this sensational book, I AM Zion Eckhardt gives you a fresh revelation on Zion not just being a place in Israel but also a spiritual reality in you—your identity—the place in which God dwells.

I Am Zion is a spiritually centered work that draws heavily on biblical principles to explore identity, faith, and one’s relationship with God. The concept of “Zion” is presented not just as a place, but as a spiritual condition—echoing scriptures such as Psalm 87:2, where Zion is described as beloved by the Lord, and Isaiah 51:16, which speaks of God planting the heavens and establishing Zion among His people.

Throughout the book, Eckhardt emphasizes the idea of believers stepping into their divine identity. This aligns with 1 Peter 2:9, which calls believers “a chosen generation, a royal priesthood,” reinforcing the message that Zion represents a people set apart. The author encourages readers to see themselves as part of this spiritual Zion, living with purpose and authority grounded in faith.

The theme of restoration and spiritual awakening is also strong, reflecting passages like Isaiah 52:1: “Awake, awake, put on your strength, O Zion.” Eckhardt uses similar language to call readers toward renewed commitment and awareness of their spiritual position. At times, the book can feel repetitive in its affirmations, but this mirrors the reinforcing style often found in scripture itself.

We give I Am Zion

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

I Am Zion is a good read and one you must add to your spiritual arsenal. By weaving scripture into its message, this book offers a faith-based perspective on identity and spiritual growth, encouraging readers to live out what it means to be part of God’s “Zion.”
