One of the celebrations on this day is Be A Kid Again Day. I’ve always thought that being a child at heart keeps one young. I have been told many times that I don’t look like or sound like my years. Nevertheless, I attribute these things to God, and am so grateful. Here I am reminded of Matthew 18:3 “Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”

Being a kid at heart I have to relinquish myself to National Video Game Day, There is a confession to be made here…It’s been awhile but occasionally I do play Super Mario World on my Nintendo Switch. Are there any gamers out there? Or perhaps you’d rather celebrate SCUD Day, which means Savor the Comic Unplug the Drama. A time to laugh, unwind, and leave all stress and aggravation behind.
For the mathematicians out there today we celebrate Math 2.0 Day
This day should be called a day of just desserts. After leaving Math Class there are some delicious celebrations we all can enjoy—National Blueberry Day, National Chocolate with Almonds Day, National Freezer Pop Day, and National Ice Cream Sundae Day.

After all of these fun celebrations, there is one left to give us all a sober reminder…Oneofusismissing Day. Created in April 2021 by Latonya Brown, the day encourages people to celebrate the lives of those who have passed away while acknowledging that it is healthy and okay to embrace life and move forward. This annual day of remembrance to honor departed loved ones and support those grieving provides a space for community healing, storytelling, and reflection without focusing on the specific cause of loss.
As we remember those who are no longer with us, may we cherish the memories they left behind, comfort one another with love, and find hope in God’s promise that death is not the end.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of every life and for the memories we hold dear. Comfort those who mourn, strengthen those who feel alone, and fill our hearts with the peace that comes through Your love. Help us to honor those we have lost by living each day with faith, gratitude, and hope in Your eternal promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
