Thought For The Week: There are seasons when life feels dark and uncertain. We may not understand what God is doing, and the weight of disappointment or sorrow can make it difficult to see beyond today.

But Isaiah reminds us that God Himself is our light. Our circumstances may change, but God’s presence never does. When we cannot see the way forward, He can guide our steps. When our hearts are heavy, He can give us strength to keep going.

The promise that “the days of your mourning shall be ended” reminds us that sorrow does not have the final word. God sees our tears, knows our struggles, and is faithful to bring us through.

So today, don’t focus only on the darkness around you. Look to the One who is your everlasting Light. Trust Him with what you cannot understand, and keep walking by faith.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for being my everlasting light. When life feels dark, help me trust Your presence and Your promises. Give me strength for today and hope for tomorrow. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
