Heavenly Father, as I go to church today, help me come with the right heart and the right reasons. Please help me remember why I am there. Keep me from seeking attention, approval, or anything other than You. Help me worship sincerely, listen to Your Word, and draw closer to You.

May my focus be on honoring You, growing in faith, and loving others. Open my heart to receive what You want to teach me, and help me leave church with a stronger desire to live for You and love others. Please shape my heart and help me leave church changed by Your presence. In Jesus’ name, amen.
