*Sunday’s Devotion

Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. (1 Corinthians 11:1 NIV)

I CORINTHIANS 11 IN ITS ENTIRETY.

Thought For The Week: As Christians, we are called to follow Jesus Christ and live as He did. But what does it really mean to follow Him? It means leading a life centered on helping others, showing kindness, and sharing God’s love with everyone around us.

The Apostle encourages us to follow his example as he follows Christ. Paul devoted his entire life to spreading the gospel and serving others, even when facing persecution and countless dangers. His life reminds us that walking in Christ’s footsteps isn’t always easy or comfortable. It requires putting aside personal goals and desires to prioritize others. Jesus taught that the greatest commandment is to love God and to love others as we love ourselves.

As we strive to follow Christ’s example, we are called to be a light in a world filled with darkness. Pain, suffering, and injustice seem to surround us, but we have the opportunity to bring hope and encouragement to those who are struggling. By sharing God’s love, we can help comfort the hurting and play a part in bringing healing and renewal to those who need it most.

Prayer: Father, please help us to be true followers of your Son, Jesus Christ. Not just in word but also in deed. Give us the courage and humility to serve others—placing their needs before our own. May our lives be a reflection of your love and may we be walking beacons of hope in a world that is so often filled with darkness. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
