If you’ve tried everything you can think of and are still coming up empty with that blank expression on your face. And you’re starting to feel like you are about to fall into a pool of insanity. Please try this. I wear this occasionally, not just to remind myself but in hopes, others will reflect upon this too. This is one of my favorite tee shirts!

“When All Else Fails…Read the Instructions.”

I have often found many answers to perplexing problems in the Holy Bible. There is much wise counsel and truth that can help you through your valley of troubles. The entire Bible is remarkable. Have you ever read Hebrews 11? Which I refer to as the Believer’s Faith Hall of Fame? It is such an encouraging Chapter when you study it closely and meditate upon the text. It also lets you know there are others that have gone before us that were in hard places, but through faith, God brought them out. Which also gives us hope.

Psalms is another place to study because it too encourages and strengthens us in our times of trouble. The 23rd Psalm was the first one I memorized as a child and it has sustained me in times of trouble and still does today. Composed of prayers, praises, and hymns—Psalms can raise your attitude to a new altitude when you read them with all fervency and reverence to God’s word.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV)

“You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you, there is more of God and his rule. “You’re blessed when you feel you’ve lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you. ”

May the Blessings of the LORD be with you today and always. Thank you for your continued readership and support. Until next week….Blessings and Peace!

  1. Hey, I am a “guy” so please, understand, it IS hard for us to read instructions before trying our own way. 😂 But I am trying to read instructions more, and especially “our manufacturer’s” instructions: the Bible.
Anita’s and my project this year is to read the entire Bible in The Complete Jewish Bible version. Very fascinating insights that coincide with Edith Schaeffer’s text, “Christianity Is Jewish.” https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/907343.Christianity_Is_Jewish

      • I plan to do a summary of some of its details sometime in the spring. We are using a Bible scholars’ “schedule” of when the books became available to the community of faith. E.g., we began with Exodus as that would have been the first stories recorded in the Hebrew community, although Job probably preceded it in writing. Then Genesis, as this would have been what YHWH revealed to Moses in their conversations; then to Job as it probably became available as literature while they were in the desert, then Leviticus and Numbers…
