Conclusion

For the past two weeks we have been delving into the meaning of the scripture “Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10). The term Be still is a command for those involved in a battle to cease fighting, to be still. The Hebrew word rapa, translated as “be still” in this verse means to “cease, let drop, be weak, or slacken.” “…and know that I am God…” In this biblical context “know” means to acknowledge Him. Acknowledging Him as not only God but as he told Moses, ” And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH (Yahweh) was I not known to them. (cf. Exodus 6:3).
Go back, and search the scriptures. He brought the Israelites through the Red Sea on dry land. (cf. Exodus 14:22) He defeated an innumerable army with only three hundred men. (cf. Judges 7:22) Through Samson He defeated one thousand soldiers with the jawbone of an ass.(cf. Judges 15:14-15) And through the words of a prophet he raised an entire army from the dead. (cf. Ezekiel 37:1-18) There are many more examples in your bible.
Trust in Him to keep His Word
I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” When it comes to integrity—Trust in Him to keep His Word; for He holds His Word above His name! (cf. Psalm 138:2) We must take our rest and refuge in God. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, he is my refuge and my fortress; My God: in Him will I trust. (cf. Psalm 91:1-2)

And remember. No matter the battles you may be facing today or tomorrow. Be they spiritual, physical, psychological, or financial—you are not fighting them alone. JEHOVAH can restore and resurrect any situation in your life. Right now you cannot see your way. But ‘know‘ when your way is cleared and the dust has settled… “Do not tremble and do not be afraid; Have I not long since announced it to you and declared it? And you are My witnesses Is there any God besides Me, Or is there any other Rock? I know of none.” (cf. Isaiah 44:8) Then for a truth you will ‘know‘ your Redeemer lives.
Thank you all so much for your continued readership and support. Until next week…Blessings and Peace!
