It’s Time To Move Forward

As I sat down at my computer on a Friday night, ready to unwind after a long week, I was met with a message that stopped me in my tracks. The screensaver simply said, “It’s Time To Move Forward.” Those words echoed in my mind, stirring something deep within me.

I couldn’t help but think of the story of Moses in the land of Moab, where he delivered the message from God to the Israelites. The Lord spoke to them, urging them to leave behind the comfort of their current place and journey towards the promised land. It was a call to step out in faith, to embrace change, and to move forward towards their destiny. (Deuteronomy 1:5-8 NKJV)

Reflecting on this, I realized that I, too, was facing a similar battle. I had been clinging to an outdated template for my website, convinced that it was the right choice. But a simple mistake led me to activate a new template, forcing me to confront my resistance to change. It was a moment of realization that sometimes we need to let go of the familiar in order to embrace the new and unknown. Or as the apostle Paul wrote: Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14 NKJV)

In that moment of vulnerability and uncertainty, I understood the importance of moving forward. It was not about losing my focus, but about fortifying it and readjusting the walk on the path towards my destiny. I had been holding on to what I thought was right, only to realize that true growth and blessings come from stepping out of our comfort zones and embracing the journey that God has laid out for us. (Proverbs 16:9 NKJV)

So, I ask you today, are you holding on to something that you should have left behind a long time ago? Are you resisting change out of fear or complacency? Remember, our destiny is not determined by our own plans, but by the divine orchestration of God. (Jeremiah 29:11-14 NKJV) Trust in His guidance, have faith in His timing, and be willing to move forward towards the land of promise that awaits you. Embrace the journey, embrace the change, and watch as your destiny unfolds before your eyes.

Thank you all so much for your continued readership and support. Until next week…Blessings and Peace!

    1. If those angels hadn’t pulled Lot and his family out of Sodom and Gomorrah he surely would’ve been a goner!!! Sometimes it’s better to get it moving and don’t look back. Thanks for stopping by have a blessed new week!
