Finding True Life Through Christ’s Word

While preparing the Verse of the Day for Tuesday, which reads, “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” (I John 5:12 NKJV), I felt a profound connection to the words of Jesus. He stated, “The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63b NKJV). This emphasizes that true life springs from the Spirit, not from earthly or material gains. Jesus guides us toward True North—the everlasting life found in following Him and embracing His teachings.

In doing so, we become true disciples and reflections of God as His children. The statement “The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life” highlights that His words are more than mere phrases; they carry a powerful, life-giving essence that can convey deep spiritual truths, profoundly impacting and transforming those who receive them.

This is why it is essential for us to resist conforming to the darkness of this world and instead be transformed by renewing our minds. By accepting His eternal word, we gain the ability to discern what is good, pleasing, and perfect in God’s will. This eternal Word can restore, rejuvenate, and grant us the wisdom to align with God’s purpose and remain steadfast within it.

Thus, we should aspire to be imitators of God as His children, exercising discernment and striving to understand the true nature of the Lord’s will. We must not only study His word but also embody it as living, breathing testimonies of that Word.

As it is written, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.” (John 1:1-4 NKJV).

Thank you all so much for your continued readership and support. Until next week…Blessings and Peace!
