When we attend our yearly eye exams, we often find ourselves silently repeating, “please, eyes, don’t fail me now.” The hope is that our optometrist will confirm our vision is 20/20, bringing us joy at the prospect of not needing glasses. This positive outcome signifies not just healthy eyes, but also normal visual acuity, allowing us to see clearly from twenty feet away.
But what about your spiritual vision through the lens of faith? Are you able to see clearly in that realm?
As we stepped into 2024, did you envision yourself entering your destined season, or are you still replaying the events of 2023?

Your spiritual clarity might resemble that of the blind man whom Jesus healed. He took the man outside the village for his miracle (Mark 8:23). Sometimes, we need to distance ourselves from familiar faces and preconceived notions for God to enhance our spiritual perception. In essence, we must detach from negativity, contentious viewpoints, and especially our comfort zones.

When we become too comfortable, we risk settling for less. Settling can lead to a perilous state where we miss out on the divine plans God has for us. To receive anything from God, we must strive for the extraordinary with unwavering faith. This journey demands persistence and a readiness to follow God’s guidance. As Proverbs 16:9 reminds us, “The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.”
Remember, “God is not a respecter of persons.”

It’s crucial to understand that the scriptures do not specify whether the man Jesus healed was righteous or not. He was simply brought to Jesus and asked for healing (Mark 8:22 NKJV). God does not show favoritism. If He could heal that blind man, He can certainly do the same for you. The key lies in your spiritual perception. Do you envision yourself healed, or are you still trapped in your previous condition? Often, we miss out because we lack belief. Even when we ask, we do so with doubt. Don’t let your spiritual sight be clouded by uncertainty.
But let the light of Jesus’ love clear the path to the destiny God has designed for you so that you can see with a different perspective and renewed thoughts! (John 9:5 NKJV) Then those eyes that were once clouded by negativity will see through the eyes of faith into a new dimension !
Thank you all so much for your continued readership and support. Until next week…Blessings and Peace!
