From Brokenness to Blessings

I was listening to a song on Saturday morning. In the first line, the singer says, “There’s a life waiting for you in your brokenness.” And at that moment, my spirit quickened and I was reminded of how Jesus blessed the five loaves and 2 fish. (Matthew 14:14-21 KJV) Sometimes, in our brokenness, we feel like, although we are following the Word, we are still hungry with nothing left to sustain us.

Here, the Word takes what we feel is nothing and blesses it and multiplies it within us, causing a paradigm shift in our spirit man that is not only replenished but also increases the word within us, causing the Greater to rise up and overflow. (I John 4:4 KJV) This will push you further away from the corruption of the world, and help you become more of a partaker of God’s divine nature through His precious promises.

He becomes Yehovah HaM’Sh’Ar’Et (יְהוֹה הַמְּשַׁעֲרֵת), the God who sustains us. The more we seek after Him, the more He begins to fill those nameless voids in our lives that try to keep us prisoners of the world. Amid our brokenness, we will find a silent God working in the shadows of our hopelessness and unknowingness when we surrender our sensual perception and fully trust Him with an unparalleled hunger and thirst after righteousness. (Matthew 5:6 KJV)

There we will find Him, lifting what we think is nothing inside of us and blessing it. Then, when we praise and give Him thanks in this brokenness, He sanctifies us even the more with His truth.

But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. (John 17:13-19 NKJV)

Thank you for your continued readership and support. Until next week…Blessings and Peace!
