As I sat at my desk, listening intently to a sermon, the words “Get your mind right” echoed in my ears. It was a simple phrase, but it struck a chord deep within me. And then, as if on cue, the scripture from Isaiah 26:3 was read aloud – You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
In that moment, everything seemed to fall into place. It was a reminder that our thoughts have power, that where we focus our minds can determine our level of peace and trust in God. It was a call to action, a call to align our thoughts with His will and promises.
So often, we allow our minds to wander, to be consumed with worry, doubt, and fear. But when we fix our minds on God, when we trust in Him wholeheartedly, He promises us perfect peace. It is a peace that surpasses all understanding, a peace that can only come from Him.

Getting our minds right is not always easy. It requires discipline, prayer, and a conscious effort to shift our focus from the chaos of the world to the peace of God. But the rewards are immeasurable. When our minds are stayed on Him, when we trust in Him completely, we can experience a peace that transcends our circumstances. (Philippians 4:6 NKJV)

So, I encourage you today to reflect on where your mind is focused. Are you allowing worry and fear to consume your thoughts, or are you fixing your mind on God and His promises? Remember, He is the source of perfect peace, and when our minds are stayed on Him, we can trust in His faithfulness to carry us through any storm. Get your mind right, and watch as He fills you with His peace that surpasses all understanding.
Thank you for your continued readership and support. Until next week…Blessings and Peace!
