As I sat down to read through the diary entitled Praise, Seek, Trust that was gifted to me by a dear friend, Kyle, I couldn’t help but ponder on the significance of these three actions in our relationship with God.
Praising God is not just about singing hymns on a Sunday morning or saying a quick prayer before a meal. It is about recognizing His greatness, His goodness, and His faithfulness in our lives. When we praise God, we are acknowledging His sovereignty and giving Him the honor and glory that He deserves. It is a way of expressing our gratitude and love towards Him. (Psalm 148 NKJV)

Seeking God is about actively pursuing Him in our daily lives. It is about seeking His will, His guidance, and His presence in everything that we do. Is it not written: Seek good and not evil, That you may live; So the Lord God of hosts will be with you, As you have spoken. (Amos 5:14 NKJV) When we seek God, we are showing our dependence on Him and our desire to align our lives with His purpose for us. It is a way of deepening our relationship with Him and growing in our faith.

Trusting God is perhaps the most challenging of the three actions. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV) It requires us to surrender our fears, doubts, and worries to Him and to have faith that He is in control. When we trust God, we are putting our confidence in His promises and believing that He will always be faithful to us. It is a way of letting go of our need for control and placing our trust in His perfect plan for our lives.
So, as I reflected on the words Praise, Seek, Trust written on the diary, I was reminded of the importance of these actions in my own spiritual journey. May we always remember to praise God for who He is, seek Him in all that we do, and trust Him with all our hearts. For in doing so, we will experience His peace, His joy, and His abundant blessings in our lives.
Thank you for your continued readership and support. Until next week…Blessings and Peace!
