Conclusion
Last week’s post was about most of the technological advancements that have been made in the last century—Everything from those big brown radios to AI. And at the end of that post was a question…Yet amidst all of these technological advancements—what have we lost from a moral perspective concerning the human condition?

But while all of these technological advancements were occurring in America, I also remember a time when the church was the centerpiece of this nation’s conscience. No liquor stores were opened on Sundays. You could barely find any stores opened on Sundays—let alone restaurants (which is apparently what the founder of that chicken place never forgot.)

Are the profits for our pockets taking precedence over the Prophet of our souls? For it is written Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (3 John 1:2 KJV) Notice at the end of that statement it says “even as thy soul prospereth.” If your soul is not prospering from these endeavors… For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? (Mark 8:36 KJV)
We need to get in the trenches…

Most of us continued going to church because that was the tradition of our parents and grandparents. But in our continuity did we really get anything out of it? And if we did are we carrying out the commission (Mark 16:15-16 KJV) set before us? Or is the commission just a symbolic overture that no longer speaks action? When was the last time you invited someone to church? When was the last time you compelled someone to come to the house of the Lord?
Technology has it so now you can watch almost any church service by streaming. Yes, we do our Christian websites and blogs and have many followers but that is just the tip of the iceberg. We need to get in the trenches and stop sitting on our laurels. Perhaps we need to prioritize—You know, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Mark 16:15-16 KJV)
Less face-to-face the less the human touch…

Less face-to-face the less the human touch until we are out of touch with ourselves and become desensitized to the things of God’s word that really matters. How does this speak to the human condition in its entirety? Perhaps we should be more like Jacob and return to where we first found God. Then rededicate ourselves to Him so that we can once again be blessed with spiritual wisdom and a fresh anointing. Thus allowing us to find our spiritual balance and True North from a moral perspective. (Genesis 35:1-9 KJV) Then we could return to the dinner table and engage in beneficial conversation instead of rushing home from church to catch the ball game on TV.

The family at the dinner table for Sunday dinner used to be NORMAL. Family around the dinner table was an innate preoccupation because God and family were the most important things of the day. But we kept looking for the next best thing until personal conversations were all but extinct and family around the dinner table became some archaic form of a gathering in exchange for everybody texting, tic tocking, tweeting, Facebooking, Instagramming, and all other sorts of social media obsessions that have widened the gap of humanity’s moral code. Splintered and dysfunctional families are a by-product of these selective computerized creations. The word teaches us to Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. (Philippians 4:5 KJV)
This is like a version of the tower of Babel 2.0.

No doubt these social media tools used in moderation with wisdom could possibly aid in giving vital solutions to some of humanity’s biggest problems but they are by no means a substitute for the wisdom and knowledge of God. Or a replacement for the spiritual deficiencies that leave a dark hole in your spirit some keep trying to fill with these different platitudes. This is like another version of the tower of Babel 2.0 (Genesis 11:1-9 NKJV) Then we won’t have to worry about these human robots they’re building because we’ll have become one ourselves.
What a state humanity is in…But all is not lost—The anticipation of Christ’s return is the hope for yesterday, today, and tomorrow. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 KJV)
May the Blessings of the LORD be with you today and always. Thank you for your continued readership and support. Until next Sunday…Blessings and Peace!
