Jesus taught us that man ought to always pray and not lose heart. (Luke 18:1 NKJV) But have you ever had one of those moments where you’re going about your day, and suddenly it hits you – you forgot to pray? I know rushing to work it happened to me and I’d just start praying while sitting right at my desk. In our fast-paced world, it’s not uncommon to forget the simple act of prayer. Whether you follow a specific religious tradition because you simply believe in the power of prayer or taking a moment to pause and reflect can have a profound impact on your mental and emotional well-being.
So what can you do when you realize you forgot to pray? Don’t panic. Instead, take a deep breath and remember that it’s never too late to connect with our Father. Whether you choose to say a traditional prayer, meditate, or simply express gratitude for the many blessings in your life, the important thing is to take the time to acknowledge God, who is the Greater above all and over all.

“Praying without ceasing” used to boggle my mind. How can one stay in prayer constantly⁉️
Then I read Brother Lawrence and discovered I had an ongoing “stream of consciousness” that was like a continuous monologue in my brain… TO ME!
Imagine if we can become so aware of Father’s presence that we direct that stream to Him, “praying without ceasing.
