The other day, I heard someone say, “Stop falling for the same old tricks of the enemy because this is a new season. God has called you higher. Instead, feel God’s purpose and plans for your life.” Those words hit me—maybe because so often, we get stuck replaying the same old battles, forgetting that we’re called to more.

If you can’t do anything about it, let it go. Or as we’ve heard so many times, “Let go and let God!” We need to stop being prisoners to things we cannot change. There’s freedom in release—a freedom that comes from trusting God, even when circumstances are beyond our control. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV)
Sometimes, the struggles we face are not because we lack faith, but because we forget to stand on the finished work of the cross. He said, “It is finished” for a reason. Instead of walking in the gifts of deliverance Jesus has already given us, we find ourselves living beneath them, missing out on the fullness of what He’s already done. (John 16:33 NKJV)
But Scripture reminds us: we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, called to proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). That’s not just a nice idea—it’s a reality, if we choose to believe it.
Maybe it’s time to stop getting caught up in what’s happening to us and start looking through the eyes of faith at what God is doing for us. Better yet, for what He’s already done! What if your life isn’t falling apart, but is actually falling into place? As I’ve written so many times—it’s all in perception.

Some of you are standing right in the middle of the answer to a prayer you once prayed. But pain and frustration have clouded your vision—you can’t see the forest for the trees. But trust: God is still working, even when you can’t see it. He’s not working on a moment—No, He’s working on a miracle! Stay open, stay expectant. This is a new season!
