While cleaning up my bedroom—something I’d been avoiding for far too long—I nearly lost myself in a mountain of clutter and confusion. Don’t ask. Among the chaos, I found small pieces of paper, receipts with names and phone numbers, and scribbles of random numbers and letters—discarded remnants of a life cluttered with distractions.
Then, something caught my eye. A note that read: “I kept typing grace when trying to log in to work.”
It was a simple mistake—typing “grace” instead of the password. That day, I kept getting error after error: incorrect username or password. But ultimately, I logged in, not because of technical luck, but because of grace.
That moment struck me deeply. Grace—so often seen as a spiritual concept—had become the key to my small victory that day. It reminded me how closely intertwined these two words are: mistake and mercy, failure and forgiveness, confusion and clarity.
The Power of Grace in Everyday Life

As I sit here writing, I’m reminded of the biblical promise: “My grace is sufficient for you…” (2 Corinthians 12:9). Have you ever truly paused to reflect on how God’s grace has been enough—more than enough—in your life?
It’s easy to forget amid the hustle and chaos. We get lost in the debris of daily struggles, cluttered with doubts, mistakes, and setbacks. But grace—divine, unfailing, stands quietly in the background, ready to catch us when we fall.
Why Reflection Matters

Taking time to meditate on grace isn’t just a spiritual exercise; it’s a reminder that we’re not alone in our mess. That even in our most disorganized moments—whether it’s a cluttered room or a cluttered mind—there’s an unmerited favor waiting to lift us up.
It’s about recognizing that our failures don’t define us. Our mistakes are part of the journey, but it is grace that sustains us through them all. It’s the silent assurance that, no matter how many times we stumble, we are held, forgiven, and empowered to move forward.
A Call to Pause and Reflect

So, I ask you: Have you taken the time to truly consider how grace has shown up in your life? When was the last time you paused to acknowledge it?
In the midst of your chaos, your failures, your daily grind—there’s a quiet, powerful truth: grace is enough. It’s sufficient. It’s more than enough.
Next time you’re caught in confusion or error, remember that grace is there, waiting. And perhaps, like me, you’ll find that in the debris of life, grace is the one thing worth holding onto.
